ABOUT THE GLENNs WORLD NETWORK

When Glenn's World began as www.glenns-world.com/ 15 years ago its main purpose was to provide an information site for my family research of the Littrell and Comer family lines. But as the family research grew and the use of the internet by extended and close family members expanded one site could not hold all the information for either the nucleur or the extended family. As different areas of interest became more and more conducive to the internet not one, or two or even three websites were sufficient. As more websites, then blogs, were added the Glenn's World domain name could not point to all of them. Even tho many people have grown acustomed to using this website to locate their interest many users have occasionally dropped off of the internet and as they returned they occasionally found the changes confusing. So in an attempt to keep the Glenn's World domain name active the website will begin to serve solely as a reference point, a directory, for anyone still using the Glenn's World domain name.                            ......glenn

Littrell, Luttrell, Literal, Comer, Ezell, Urban, Landtroop, Hampton...Tennessee, Missouri, Virginia, Kentucky, England, Ireland, Normandy, reunions...

Its all here.

www.littrellfamily.net, the website for communicating with family and extended families about the genealogy (family history) of the Littrells and their allied families.

This research is into the extended family's genealogy, or history.  This is where I post information on the various family lines for the name Littrell, or Luttrell, or Literal, or any of the many varied spellings of that name throughout history.  I have researched the history of the Littrell, Luttrell and Literal family for over 15 years now and have written several books on the Littrell and Luttrell families of Europe, Colonial America, Tennessee and Missouri.  I am presently writing and planning to write several more as well as re-editing the previous books.  In addition to the Littrell and Luttrell histories I plan to write on the Comer, Urban, Smith, Ellis, Sandy and Ezell families of Colonial America and particularly Tennessee....

Scrappy Jo's Scrapbook Supplies is the business run by my daughter, Kelly, and her mother, Jo.
Whenever I'm in a conversation about compassion, justice, non-competitive sports, victims rights, class basketball, there occasionally emerges some macho neanderthal mentality from someone, not always men, that its about 'survival of the fittest'. The way its supposed to be: wits and strength, the strong survive, etc.
But what immediately runs through my mind when I here these arguments are four questions:
ONE: In the wild, just strength and wit, where does this person stand in the food chain?
TWO: In a bare handed encounter between this person and a bear who would win?
THREE: Could I outwit or kick this person's butt?
FOUR: In a three way encounter, this guy, a bear and me, who can run the fastest?
Most the time I feel me and the bear are safe.
